In October 2023, I was fortunate to go to the Confucius Institute in Indonesia to meet with Director Niu Haitao. Dean Niu has a clear understanding of the importance of the Confucius Institute in Indonesia and confidently looks forward to the future of cultural exchanges and cooperation between China and Indonesia. Dean Niu’s enthusiasm and professionalism make me full of confidence in the work of the Confucius Institute, and I believe they will continue to make important contributions to the deepening of China-Indonesia friendship.
